We modify

We provide Electrical and Instruments engineering for modifications and refurbishment of switchgear, drives, UPS, rotating machines for marine vessels. We specialise in carrying out these activities with minimal disruption. We offer safe engineering solutions that reduce risk and enable our teams can install and commission efficiently.

We have a proven track record of designing, installing and commissioning Aids to Navigation including AIS and virtual AIS systems. Often, we engage with Navigation Authorities on our Customer’s behalf.

We maintain

Our experienced maintenance teams are mobile and attend vessels wherever they are in the world. Furthermore, the teams work with Marine Operations to ensure we complete work ultimately without disruption, and crucially on time, especially when docked or during overhauls.

Extending the operating life

Just because the plant is old, it does not mean necessarily Operators have to replace it. ABMAS specialises in overhauling and upgrading electrical, power and protections systems, thereby extending the operating capability and significantly reducing the impact costs of new replacement equipment.

We are adept at procuring and delivering parts, equipment and systems and getting them to the vessels. We excel in obtaining parts and plant for retrofit and refurbishment projects.
